I do not feel safer. Most of the world does not feel safer. We are also told the troops have not decreased, Yet I have friends whose sons are being made to go back into Iraq even though the got out of the service. Isn't this a form of draft? When will this administration stop the lies? 2,746 troops dead over 20,000 wounded, over 9,000 of those critically wounded, meaning lost legs, arms, head wounds from which they will never recover. We may have taken it to another country but Americans are still dying.
To scubadog3 above, we have a HMO with drug plan and we paid over $8,500. for health care last year. In this country if you aren't in poverty when you start you will be when the government get s through with you.

All i have to say is remember that roadside bomb that went off in Chicago? Or that high jacked plane that hit the empire state building? Neither of those 2 things have occured. Nor has any catostrophic event since 9/11. How can you not feel any safer? Is it because no you see the danger when it has always existed? Ask yourself these questions.

Well, since that isn't the case, there's no need to speculate about it, is there? Truth is, we ARE safer because the Bush Administration is doing everything it can to protect us. Y'know, like not giving North Korea the ability to make nuclear bombs, for example.

Opinions are all over the map on this. But there are two facts which are worth remembering in the debate: Iraq is not now pursuing nuclear weapons. Under the Saddam regime, it WAS pursuing nuclear weapons, as well as biological and chemical ones. (Only the outbreak of the Gulf war prevented Saddam from launching a biological weapons attack against Israel.) So, what became of all of the WMD material? Read the reference and find out.

That is just one small aspect of supporting a conservative agenda. I for one am an independent conservative and not a member of the Republican party.
I vote conservative because of the parasitic social programs pushed by liberals. Abortion sickens me. I enjoy low federal income taxes. I believe a nationwide healthcare system is NOT an entitlement. (I pay for my own as should everyone.)
I support a strong national defense which Democrats continuously prove to cut defense budgets every time they get in office.

This is how bush won. Free and propoganda! He said "John Kerry will not fight the terrorists, he will be weak and let them get their way." Bush put fear into any under educated, propoganda believing fool.
Bush made America believe Kerry would do nothing to stop terrorism. That was far from true. Many Foolish republicans still believe this.
They also believe we are in iraq for a reason. Haha!!!

Yeah...we are safer even though we are creating terrorists by the 100's on a daily basis...
That makes ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE. Some non-free thinking people don't realize this.
