I work with a female whose dad is a well known football celebrity. I asked if she could ask her dad to write his autograph on a sports trading card. She said that she would. I went by her office about a week later. She said she forgot and would bring it the next day.
I let two days pass and heard nothing from her. Then, I asked her again. She said she still had my trading card for her dad to sign in her drawer. She said she forgot. Again. Her actions lead me to believe that she is an insincere tease and worthless. Now, I don't give a crap who her dad is.
I have also had another female do the same damn thing to me in
similar situation. I asked her to meet me for lunch. She said she would and to call her. I called and arranged a time. Then, when I
called to confirm, she said she could not as promised
I asked her again to meet me for lunch in a week. She said, "You're crazy!!!" And this is a "friend" of mine since high school.
What the hell is wrong !!!!!

I generally don't listen to males who refer to women as "females". But 1- your football woman has probably done the autograph thing 100000 times and is sick of "males" asking.
2-You make poor choices in friends.

The more you pester your friend for her dad's autograph the more it seems like you're using her for something. You know, some people have a lot going on in their lives, and I'm sure she doesn't mean to forget your trading card at work. However she may have a lot on her mind, and remembering to have her dad autograph your trading card may very well be one of the last things on her mind. I'm not sure about the other girl however you seem to be a little pushy so perhaps she really doesn't want to go to lunch with you or quite frankly spend any time with you.
Perhaps if you treat women a little nicer you'll find that we really aren't as awful as you make us out to be.
