What has happened to the Dr. Who from last season on the SciFi channel??? The new guy is o.k., but the 1st guy was better.....

That was always the beauty of the Dr Who show. Since the doctor can always be reincarnated as another image they can always get another actor to play the role. None of that fumbling around like on Bewitched when they changed the husband to a new actor.
If you ever see a Dr Who marathon you realize that some of the doctors are much better than the others and some of his helpers are hotter than the others.

I have watched Dr. Who for a long time -- back to the old series (I was stationed overseas in the Military -- it was a favorite of mine).
One of the great things about the Dr. Who Series is that the Doctor is regenerated into a new body every so often -- and yes, some are better than the others. Personally, I go for the older actors in the Dr. Who Role -- they just have so much more wit about their story lines and they play the part of a Time Lord (who has all those time streams running through his head) so much better than the younger Actors.

dr who is always evolving, otherwise he wouldnt be dr who. But dont worry bout the new guy you will get used to him sonn and will think he is just as good. I went through the same thing 20 years ago with the original series and I got attached to 7 doctors!!

The series has a long long history of replacing the Doctor.
If I remember correctly, we are on the 10th actor to play the Doctor.
