Actually, I dislike rap for so many other reasons I take very little notice of the sexism. It's not merely sexism, by the way, but often encouraging violence against women, which is far more than sexism.
Rap "music" is very dangerous because its lyrics are often -- I would say usually -- not comprehensible to the conscious mind, but the unconscious mind takes it in anyway. So you walk by a guy playing loud rap, and all these nasty things go into your unconscious mind without your usual "BS filters," and you feel lousy without even knowing why. It's diabolical.
