i love desperate housewives it has
everything from suspense and drama to romance and murder. you should defenitly look into tivoing it.

I love Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. The show is hilarious, but still has its share of drama. You can't go wrong with Matthew Perry and Amanda Peet certainly can't hurt. But, I also really enjoy Ugly Betty. It's really cheesy, but that's kind of the point. It's imitating the telenovella Betty Fea. I would definitely try watching either of these shows. Studio 60 is on Mondays I think 11:00 EST and Ugly Betty is Thursdays, I think 9:00 EST.

Definitely: get "Dead Like Me." It airs on the Science Fiction Channel (SCFI) on Tuesday nights at 7PM & 8PM Eastern Time, and on HDNET (I think on Sunday and Wednesday nights).
Check to make sure about the time for your zone (5PM Eastern = 6PM Central, etc.).
Eureka is a pretty good show, too -- but the sound level during the opening song comes across almost as loud as a commercial, which can be a little annoying if you don't "soft mute" it. Don't be turned off by the intro music comment: it's worth watching.
I just discovered the whole Stargate thing (SG-1, Atlantis), so all that is new to me, but it's not a new show.

I agree with the 2 above me about Studio 60-it's great! It's on Monday @ 10/9central on NBC
I also recommend Ugly Betty -it's very cute. It's on at 8/7central on ABC on Thursdays
