I lost mine on a sunday and went into full labor on Monday. My daughter was born Monday night.

A friend lost hers and had her son three weeks later.

All that really means is that the cervics is starting open, and the baby as "dropped". You really can't tell with the mucas plug. First time around I lost mine when I went in to labor, the second time around I lost it a month before I was due. Seeing as she's 38 weeks along, it could be anytime now.

That is a very early sign of labor. I lost mine about 1 week before I had my first baby. With my second I didn't loose it until I was already in the hospital and 4cm dialated. Some women go into labor soon after, others it can still be weeks. hang in there!

The baby has to be deliverd within 24hrs after the water breaks to prevent infection. So it shouldnt be long now. Have her start walking, it will help her dilate more quickly. Good luck
