he was in brookside he played anthony murray from 2000 to 2003
his mum was diane murray played by bernie nolan

He played Anthony Murray in Brookside. I don't think he should be allowed to enter really, because he could already have a fanbase from being on the telly, but then again, lots of other folk in the previous shows had been on telly before, and it didn't guarantee that they would win, Andy Scott-Lee for example, he was on Pop Idol a few years ago having previously been in a band. Also Kerry (in this years over 25's group) was in a channel 4 series, Book Club or something.

The winner of the x factor this year, will be the guy/girl/ or group that have the best singing voice.
The young man in question, was in Brookside.
Yes, i think he should be allowed to enter the competition, if you think your voice is good enough then why not.
I would like to think that the x factor is not a fix, it's just a very entertaining programme, and about the only decent thing on t.v. on a Saturday evening.

i think x factor is probably a fix- thats why i dont ever vote.
i do still watch it though- its still entertainment, and he was in brookside.
