if the complement of angle D is 62 so it would be D+62=90 and then D=28 degrees. Since you know D is 28 so you do 28+y=180. Y is just a variable so you can find the supplement. So Y=152. The supplement of angle D is 152.

complement means d + 62 =90 so d=28

supplement means d + angle = 180
since d=28 180-28 = 152
so the supplement to angle d is 152

if the complement of D is 62 then D is 90-62 =28
and the supplement is 180-28 = 152

Two angles are complementary when their sum equals 90 degrees.
Two angles are supplementary if their sum equals 180 degrees.

To find the measure of the angle, you can just compute:
90-62=28 degrees

You can then compute the complementary using the equation:
x+28=180 degrees
x=152 degrees

The complementary angle is of 152 degrees.
