I have taken those ovulation tests every single day, starting 5 days after my period for like 3 weeks, every single day. Not one day shows I am ovulating. That happened last month too, but I got my period. What is going on? I know I can get my period and not ovulate, I read that on Americanpregnancy.org but is that what is going on?

yes you can get your period without ovulating. It's called an anovulatory cycle. Most of the time those cycles are very irregular. Sometimes they might be 28 days, 32 days, and other times 35 days or even longer. Did you just come off birth control? Sometimes it takes a few months for your body to get back to normal. But regardless if you don't have regular cycles then talk to your doctor. Your doctor will most likely talk to you about clomid which is an ovulation inducer. I wasn't ovulating so I took it with my daughter and now after taking it again I am almost 8 weeks pregnant. If you need any questions answered about it I will be happy to help. Good luck!

I tried using the clear blue ovulation monitor for three months, it never showed that I was ovulating or about to. And just like you I had my period every single time. I agree with you I don't think I am having an anovulatory cycle all the time either. I stoped using this monitor and decided to just have intercourse on days 12, 14 and 16 of my menstrual cycle, which is what was recommended by my gynecologist.
I recommend making an appointment with your gynecologist.

You know I have the same problem!!!! Everytime I have ever taken an ovulation test it never says I'm ovulating but I have a period EVERY month. There has only been one month in my whole 11 years of having a period where I didn't have one. I know that you can have anovulatory cycles but I don't believe that they happen EVERY cycle. Usually anovulatory cycles only happen once in awhile...

Go to the Dr...you can get a blood test donw on teh 21st day of your cycle and they can tell you if you ovulated or not. If you didn't ovulate...they can start you on a low dose of clomid to get things started
