The obvious question is to ask him if he has been getting any exercise. If he hasn't, suggest taking a walk in the morning. Also, ask him if he drinks coffee and what time was the last hour that he drank it, or other caffeine. Then, warm milk often does the trick, so if he could drink a half glass of warm milk, a bit before bedtime that would also help. Finally, if this is a persistent problem, it would be good to discuss with him any stress or issues going on with him at work or in life. And another suggestion: it's very nice to take a hot bath, even with those bath oils or aromas, even for men, when they can't sleep. You may also want to soothe him with a small massage, or simply rubbing his scalp and hair, to ease his tension.

I see here you've put this question under Alt Medicine, so I assume you're open to ideas.

It's like accupuncture but without the needles, and you can learn on your own. The whole process takes 2 minutes, and will help your bf/husband sleep. There's a free manual you can download and learn. Good luck!:)

Loosing weight can help some. Regular exercise, lower the caffene intake, and perhaps some Sleepytime tea. Sleeping pills really don't work. If he snores, he may have sleep apnea.

They say that if you take Melantonin which is actually a vitamin or herbel remedy. works really well. You could try that or you can buy Sominex over the counter. Some of the other medications are Tylenol PM and Excedrin PM. In my opinion Sominex works the best......

There are several things you can do....
Eat at least 3 hours before retiring. Nice hot shower before bedtime. Calm time, maybe reading for a while try to stay way from fried or spicy foods, lots of noise, thrillers on TV, etc.

Dunno why you asked for only women to answer! Guys know best what puts them to sleep! Daily sex would do it for me ... a guy always has a drain of energy right after climax. The more active the sex, the better, so contrarily to what the the lady above mentioned, a bj would probably not do it!

Good luck!

Toodles.
