Hey Rachel A - didn't you just tell a bunch of people in another topic to only offer advice & your opinion when asked and to otherwise shut up??? Wow! Practice what you preach, girl!
PS- Your child didn't cry because he was in shock. I know this because I'm an OB nurse & I witness that happen all the time. That's NOT an opinion!

Here are my answers to Missy's Question:
Yes, I've been with both circumcised and uncircumcised men.

I didn't have a preference sexually. My husband is circumcised, although he's mentioned he might want to restore. I can honestly say I've only had one bad lover and he was circumcised. But him being cut had nothing to do with it. He would have been a bad lover with or without foreskin. It is true what some say about cut (circumcised) men needing to thrust a little harder and how you need more lube. But I can't say I really prefer one to the other in terms of lovemaking. I prefer the look of a natural, uncut male because knowing how much pain they were in and how half of their penis was cut off against their will makes me very sad. Oh well!

I can't say the intercourse felt any different because I was unmarried and used condoms all the time. But I do believe the circumcised men had to thrust harder, as does my husband who is cut (we obviously don't use condoms now that we're married).

I have NOT circumcised our sons we have together. I am a nurse and I work in OB. I know circumcisions are not medically recommended as a routine type of infant procedure and I know they are very painful for the babies. So even though my husband is cut, my boys are intact (uncircumcised). I'd never imagine cutting off a part of healthy part of my son or daughter!
Parents who think circumcision is a good idea should really research the facts and watch this video:
http://intact.ca/vidintro.htm - at the bottom of the page you can download the video. It's very realistic.
I honestly don't know that many modern-day doctors or nurse who do circ their own children anymore. It's just not necessary.

All three of our boys & their daddy are circumcised. I have had partners in the past who were not. I have no preferences as far as that goes.

I've been married twice. My first husband (r.i.p) was circumcized and our first was a boy. I didn't circumcize him because I didn't feel there was a need. He gave me the famous "I want him to look like me" speech but I told him that if both of them were going to go around comparing penises then there was something very wrong with him. Needless to say, my son never compared himself to his dad..so I think that reason is stupid and uneducated.

My second husband is also circumcized..we've had 2 boys, both have not been circumcized. He also gave me that crap but I don't care. I won't mutilate my boys without having a valid reason. My boys know how to properly clean themselves and have never had any problems. My boys are left perfect as they came into this world and I can't understand why anyone would mess with perfection..unless they are lazy and uneducated.

***Edited to add: I have asked my teen son (16 yrs old) if him being uncircumcized gives him problems in the locker room. These are his exact words "Mom, why would anyone look at me in the locker room?" I told him "Well that's one reason why parents have their boys circumcized, so they don't get made fun of in the locker room" He then said "I don't see any of that in school. Guys just don't look at other guys like that. Whoever looks and makes fun of someone is the one that gets made fun of"****

Yes.
Uncircumcised. Because it feels better during sex, and is more fun to play with. They're better lovers in my opinion too.

It felt softer. Other than that, the skin pulls back during sex.

I wouldn't circumcise my son because his daddy's not.

Only had uncircumcised. Will and have circumcised my baby boy. It is not mutilation, it is not cosmetic. It is a choice and I made mine.

I'm circumcised and we circumcised our son because it is healthier. circumcised males have a lower chance os penis cancer, UTI, and STD...

prefer a circumcised one, cleaner and prettier looking!

One child has (health reasons) one hasn't, not religious!
