We would have to surrender the wild excesses of our Capitalist Society. We cant be as reckless as we are now and still hope to halt climate change.

We need a severe social change, as well as an economic one. Also, nations must stop seeing themselves as one and one alone, we have to work TOGETHER to deal with this

Can't you just see it: Gore's totally concentration on the environment while war is breaking out all over the world, people having to pay more taxes and for consumer products while he pursues his hobby.

Environment is important but that priority is out of place when the whole world could be blown up.

Gore was a little rich boy whose Daddy told him he could be president but he just does not have the brains, determination and he would only know how to lead by polls.

He positively has no true idea about world affairs. Another one who wants to leads from an inflated ego and self-serving interests.

The man was pathetic when he used his dying son and then sister to try to gain votes. UGH

Hopefully he means waking up and finally realizing how fragile humanity is.

THERE IS NOTHING A HUMAN BEING CAN DO TO HURT THE EARTH.

It was here for millions of years before you and it will be here for millions of years after humans cease to exist.

Nuff Said

His "new ways of thinking" are actually old ideas:
Live simply so that others may simply lives
-and-
Leave nothing but footprints, take nothing but memories

Of course, maybe these ideas are new to some people

I like old thinking. Going back to the past and re-doing what we already know works.

Like tax cuts to grow the economy and produce jobs and increase the standard of living.

Just to stop ignoring it, or pretending its not there, or letting someone else deal with it.
