No, but they did hush up the fact that your beloved Pentagon was responsible for the Anthrax in the post fiasco, designed to frighten the US citizens.
The feds discovered that only the US military had the type of Anthrax used, then proved that the trail leading them to 2 disgruntled scientists was false, and just as they were closing their net, their budget went up, and the case closed.
Worrying, as having killed thousands of Iraqis, having used a WMD against its own people, having invaded a foreign country; these are the charges Saddam Hussein is facing, and George Ws government have now committed, with impunity.

You know its hard to say, maybe yes, they wanted to get into Iraq and the best way is a fake terrorist attack, then again, maybe it was REALLY terrorists.

After the Pentagon incident, who knows?
