You are in the basement of a two story building. There are three light switches on the wall. Each of them goes to a light bulb on the second floor. In a simple logical way, how can you figure out which light switch goes to each light bulb? Also, you can only leave the basement once and you can't use other people.

turn on the first 2 switches, leave them on for a while....then turn the second one off, go upstairs...... if the lights on its the first switch, if not, feel the bulb and if its warm its the second switch, if its cold, either some asshole didnt change the bulb, or its the 3rd switch

Leave one of them on for ten minutes or so, turn the other one on for 30 sec.s or so, and leave the third one off. Check them by warmth coldest to hottest and that's which switch controls each.

Call the electrician who wired my damn house and ask him why the lightswitch in the basement is for my 2nd story. Then have him come over and fix it. :)
