Pink- its your room!- start as you mean to go on- make the decisions- you don't want to start giving him options- he'll expect to have a say in the future- I say go Pink!!!

light turquoise is supposed to be difficult to sleep in - my son has a similar shade and I am considering re painting as it is a little cold to the eye too. If you get the right shade of pink it will be warming and welcoming and shouldnt be too girly.
I vote a decent pink.

neither, because pink might cause a few disagreements and any blue shade is too cold for winter i think. maybe something like a lilac shade which is quite femine but not too harsh.

Depends how old you are? Personally I wouldn't. I had my bedroom lilac and it was gross. I have just changed it too soft browns and it looks fab. I realised when I changed it how depressing lilac actually was and it made the room look really small and enclosed.

Why not go for pale purple - a mix of both? Purple for passion, they say!
