if i had a pregnancy test at 4-5 weeks pregnancy when would my level of hcG be expected to lower to <5 again?

I'm assuming you had an abortion or lost the baby... otherwise your levels would not go down they would double fairly consistantly. Otherwise, it should take a month or less for your hormones to go back down to where they were. Once you ovulate again and have your next period you should be right back to normal
