Someone i thought was my friend lied to me about another one of my friends and when she got busted in the lie she decided to lie about the whole thing..She said "i never said that" WHY WOULD SOMEONE DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT??

... because he/she thought it wasn't going to be a big deal. Now he/she had to lie about the lie to not look like a liar... but-.... she/he isn't achieving that at all, because you know the real her/him now. This person just proved that she isn't a friend material.

For some people lying is an escape kind of like a cutter or druggie. It is a way to release some kind of presure they are feeling. It is a mental thing. You might want to suggest your friend sees a therapist. It is a common things between the ages of 15-19 to lie to make yourself feel better. It is a form of self soothing.

she got cold busted! is she really your friend? some people will tell a lie if, the truth sounded better.be carefully what you tell her.

Who wants to get in trouble? When someone does something like that they are covering up for mistakes.

she is trying to prevent a fight.... or she is stuck in the middle of a battle you and your friend are having with each other and she really doesn't want to take sides so she lies to prevent hurting one of you..
