Im a Dallas Cowboys fan, a Chicago Bulls fan, a Annaheim Mighty Ducks fan, and a Boston Redsox/ Cincinnati Reds fan.
I can be obnoctious at times...but it seems that eagle fans are the worst among any sport-fans base. Yes all the teams have their obnoxious fans...it's not just a philly thing, and not just a northeast thing.
as for sounding like idiots...I say that's anyone who doesn't know who the best teams are...and the best teams are the teams I am a fan of.

That is simply in the city itself. Don't assume that fans from the Greater Philadelphia area act like that as well. To make generalizations is uncalled for. As for another clarification, the fans in Philly are very passionate about their sports, which does not fit into mold of what some individuals think is a "class fan". Don't mistake passion and pride for violence and raucous.
An analogous statement would be to say "class fans" are simply static indifferent spectators.

Who knows? I've been a Bears fan and my friends have been and we show a lot of respect because we've always had a crap team until last year. Other Bears fans are fat annoying midwesterners.
It's probably just the person's personality, there are annoying fans in all sports. It just depends where the most obnoxious people coincidentally live, and it seems, to me, to be Oakland and Philidelphia. Dallas comes to mind as well.

Believe it or not, it's not just Philly. Oakland, Tampa Bay, Pittsburgh, Chicago, among other teams. It's just sports teams in general that fans go crazy. In fact, even basketball, or a better example - hockey. Hockey is the greatest example of frantic fans. I'm not a crazy person, but I love sports. I just don't go overboard like those frantic fans.

They are just crazy. I can realate to you. I have Eagle fans in some of my high school classes. They wont shut the hell up.
