I am at a local zoo studying the monkey exhibit for my physical anthropology class. I had finally finished recording my observations on my laptop when I began to forage for my keys in my pocket.
In a struck of most unholy bad luck, my keys got stuck on a lose thread in my pocket, so I began to tug, alas I gained no ground. I pulled harder and harder until finally the lose strand became free vaulting my hand into the air and launching my keys between the bars of the monkey exhibit, and into the canopy, where they were stolen by a mischevious monkey.
In a panic I tried to coax the monkey to through them back at me, as if he was tossing poo. But no such luck. I have looked around and around for a zoo employee but cant find one.
The most terrible part is I just got promoted to manager for the night club I work at, and I am to open the club tonight as my first official managerial task. I am screwed! I cant show up and say, "sorry I am late, a monkey stole my keys".
Should I climb in?
