I thought is was genius and hilarious for a while, now I don't know what I was thinking. I guess it's one of those things when the novelty wears off.

yes, because it was such a subtle humor that is rarely seen in today's comedies...

Napolean was original, fresh and so odd that it took America by storm. However, the novelty called Jon Heder has worn off. He needs to find a better agent because the roles since Dynamite have been so stereotypical.... Whatever happened to David Faustino who played Bud Bundy on Married w/ Children?.... he's another one that was stereotyped to the point he does not exist any more...

Absolutely! I love that movie! I often find myself saying lines and phrases from it with people looking at me like I'm stupid. It's good to know there are still people out there who appreciate the humor of Napoleon Dynamite!!! :)

I love Napoleon Dynamite and so do my kids. I love the fact that it is a clean, quirky movie and I don't have to worry about the language or the content.

I thought it was a pretty funny movie. just the randomness and the weirdness of it.

but it was so overrated by all the vote for pedro shirts, liger shoelaces. everything. he was friggin everywhere.

then it kind of gets on my nerves.

in a couple of years after not watching it it might be funny again.

I honestly thought this was a funny movie. It was very dry humor, stupid one-liners and a goofy star with funny sidekicks. I really did enjoy it when it first came out, and I still like it.

To each their own I suppose!

I never thought it was genius but I still enjoy it..I am thinking you are one of the many young fans who loved it when it was the cool new thing and now you are on to whatever is cool right now.

Hopefully you will enjoy rediscovering this neat movie when you get older.

Its one of those movies that are really funny at the time but then you see it a couple of times and its just not funny anymore. Although there are some really classic quotes that will always be funny. Vote for Pedro!!

It's still funny, but not as funny as "Peewee's Big Adventure" which has more quotable lines than Casa Blanca..
