just tell him you and the son were very dissapointed, would have been nice to have him there with you all.....if you want revenge...do the same thing on his bday..just go somewhere nice with your son, and say "oh I'm sorry was it your bday today?"..lol...

After your son has gone to bed, you should schedule a time to discuss this with your husband. When you sit down together, sit across from each other with your knees touching.
"____ I was very surprised to see you gambling. As you probably realize, I have strong feelings on this. I love you very much and would like to understand."
This should bring out how much of a problem this is as well as if you can handle it w/o marriage counseling.

question is how do u CATCH a grown man doin anything? you're not his mother. there is obviously a lot of deceit goin on in your relationship when your husband has to HIDE and end up CAUGHT just being a guy. are u sayin he spent your son's gift money? i'm not sure u explained very well what the issue is.

That's it, he was gambling. Was he gambling your sonny away. did her try and put the house up for collateral.
if these things haven't happend yet don't get on his case seriously. You should try and understand what it is that he's doing probally participate once or twice and he may start to listen to you more.
