Because they do not understand the difference between freedom of speech and the right to trash someone else's publication. But this was worked out long ago with regard to print media, and I'm sure a judge would apply the same rules.
Freedom of speech, or of the press, does not imply that a newspaper is obliged to print whatever you give them. It means you have the right to publish your own newspaper, or flier, or whatever, if you want. It is not "censorship" for Yahoo! to remove an offensive question or answer. It is their right. You have the right to start your own web page and say whatever you want on it, however disgusting.

Bigots and racists love to hide behind the First Amendment. But the fact is that you can't have freedom without responsibility. Like it or not, our words and actions do have consequences -regardless of whether or not they are allowed by law .
Example: If a recording artists or actors publicly bad-mouth our country or make a racist remark, it is certainly their right to do so without fear of arrest. But that does not grant them freedom from negative public opinion, or prevent others from choosing not to purchase their products

I individual could have mandatory to the two been in a coma for before 5 years or in the properly suited's echo chamber to not come upon that conservatives have tried to paint Obama has some thing distant places and unAmerican, and his ethnic history has been generic to that attempt. that's not in basic terms despite that Chris Mathews has commented approximately. different persons, like Colin Powell have commented on it besides. that's what Mathews became as quickly as alluding to in his comments. yet as consistently, extremely of objectively reading his comments to objective and understand why he pronounced what he pronounced and if there in all probability any validity to it, the suited brushed aside it out of hand and became it into yet yet yet another Obama / left bashing speaking factor. This crap is fairly getting tiring.

I think they hide behind their "right" to be rude and offensive when really what they are displaying is a lack of respect for others.
