On the new show Jerico and on the news it said, maybe one bomb in one city and the surrounding cities, what do they do to be safe from the fall out. No hiding under desks but how far does a bomb go? Say it is 150 miles away. The storms travel across the country. Your in Kansas, out on the parrie, now what do you do?

It depends on weapon type and payload.

The type of Atomic weapon currently in stock by nations like India and Pakistan are pretty bad, but contained weapons. You could survive by getting clear of major Urban Centres and staying downwind of any Fallout.

The type of Nuclear device sued by America, Russia or the European 2 (Britain and France) would eliminate the entire area. The Largest Thermonuclear devices would eradicate areas the size of minor counties. Theirs no running from an ICBM, just pray we never have to find out
