Go to your best newstand or bookstore and get THE ROSS REPORTS, It is constantly updated with the names of Studio casting directors, what films and TV show are in production and exactly how to contact each place/person. It comes out every few months and costs under $7-$8.

Unless they have an open call (rare) you need an agent to get an audition to get into a movie. Even background actors (extras) go through an agency.
