1)clutch is not disengaging all the way

a. bad clutch master cylinder or slave cylinder
b. fluid low in clutch master cylinder
c. if mechanical style clutch realease may need to be adjusted up.

If pedal travels a long way before it releases it probably is not releasing all the way.

2)Oil in low in transmission or transaxle

Have you checked the fluid level? There is a reservor on the firewall that looks like the brake reservor, it's for your clutch. try that first
