I think it's because your running game isn't as dominant anymore....and Big Ben is being forced to win games as opposed to just managing them. And....since he's only been called on to do that once or twice, he sucks at it. Looks like Big Ben didn't escape growing pains after all....

I agree with what every one here has said.
In the next week or two we should see improvement as everyone gets healthy.
Cowher should have let Batch start against the Jags, that was a bad coaching decision on his part.
We are really missing Bettis also, but we have hope at RB.
I was never very impressed with Randel El, and I don't think his leaving has had much impact on the team. However I think we do miss Kimo.
There are still a lot of regular season games left to play, we will see what happens but I think our Steelers will step up.
GO STEELERS!!!!!! Happy Football Season :o)

They rushed Big Ben back from having his appendix taken out and they're depending on him too much; the schedule's been brutal (having games at different times all the time doesn't help); Polamalu and Ward aren't 100%...just everything. There is not just one thing wrong, it's everything. I'm a huge Steeler fan, and I've watched every game, and nothing's clicking. They were also a little too cocky coming into the season after winning the Super Bowl.

ah-hem...here i go:
a) Ben is still recovering from motorcycle accident and his appendix surgery
b) we lost Bettis and Randel El
c) the Steelers are a late starting team....it takes a few games to get on the roll...don't forget last season!
d) I think they're a little too cocky/whatever from the Superbowl last year. COOL DOWN!
otherwise, GOOOO STEELERS!

1. The schedule has been brutal, all 3 loses are to exceptional teams.
2. Ben is making poor decisions with the football, and has thrown a ton of bad balls too.

because Big Ben is not 100%. I think his motorcycle accident he had is the reason why he is not doing good. the Steelers think he wins the game, but the whole team wins

I think Big Ben has lost some self confidence, Cower should bring in Charlie Batch for now.

they brought Rothlisberger back too fart. He had a lot of stuff happen to Him before the season started. they should have left Batch in for a couple more weeks. He won the first game and, pretty impressively, I might add.

2 words-- No Bettis. Bringing in Batch is like admitting that you don't mind losing.
