Absolutely, in the top 5 worst! I am so worried and stressed about our country and it seems Bush is getting us deeper and deeper toward another world war. He is doing a great job at severing our relations with other countries. He is so dangerous for the Americans and I pray God that we will stay safe and . I don't believe he ever was qualified for the job as our president. I do think he has done some good for our country but he has failed far too much.

Bush may, for now, be seen by many as a bad president, but to say he's the worst ever is entirely premature.
With former idiots like Nixon, Truman, Johnson, Carter, Kennedy (Kennedy was terrible for the country) it is almost impossible to say that Bush is the worst ever.
The world today, is by far the strangest it has ever been.
People must understand that Bush has had to deal with undoubtedly the oddest times that the world has ever seen.
I think that time will show that Bush was right in the middle.
There were 18 presidents that weren't even elected to a second term (not including those who died in office). I'd say that puts Bush at least in the middle of the pack.
I think that Bush is often misguided, but he's not as bad as many others.
Clinton was in a similar boat. Not the best, not the worst.
The best were Lincoln, FDR, and Washington, in that order.
The economy under Bush is OUTSTANDING.
His foreign policies suck.
He is not a great communicator. In fact, he's piss-poor. That being said, I still think he knows what he's doing.
Bush knows that he is not up for re-election in 08, so he can do things now that are unpopular, because he doesn't have to worry about getting votes.
His approval rating, although some have said it is terrible, doesn't scratch the surface of what lows others have had.
Besides, approval ratings have very little to do with whether or a president is good or not. For instance, Lincoln's unpopular policies helped lead to the Civil war. That doesn't mean his policies were wrong.
Most Americans have no clue what a president's policies are until the media starts to criticize them.
A good question is this: Are your lives, as a whole, any better or worse because of what the President has done? Most people would say they aren't much different. If they are that much different, it is unlikely that Bush had anything to do with it.
Military families have lost loved ones and that makes their lives worse. Since there is not a draft, everyone in the military chose to be there.
I still think most families who have lost loved ones are more proud of their families than ever. I'd be willing to bet that military families who have lost loved ones are more proud of who they lost than the families who lost loved ones on Sept 11.

For the past 50 years, presidents have served as figureheads. They very rarely do anything without Congress getting involved anyway.

Presidents are judged by not only what they did, but also what they had to deal with. Bush has had to deal with a whole lot.

Not at all, he is the most disliked by the liberal media, but the media is very bias and the only reason you see all this anti-Bush rhetoric is because of the media. Just like in 2004 when Bush was re-elected, wasn't it funny how much you heard Bush was horrible and a terrible President, yet he was still able to get re-elected. He actually will go down as not the best or the worst, somewhere in between. He has a tough job and the economy is doing well and we also, even with the war, have the lowest deficit in 4 years. So as much as the media kills him and gets you to be brainwashed by it he is not all that bad. He has dealt with more issues than many other presidents have in their terms and he has an extremely thankless job by not just the spoiled americans that take their freedom for granted but by the world that take us for granted. It aint easy being the top dog in a world of dogs.

you ought to circulate decrease back to the nineteenth century yet there are a number of them. Pierce replaced right into a cave in under the effect of alcohol, Buchanan did not something mutually as the rustic fell aside into civil conflict, Andrew Johnson thoroughly bungled reconstruction, supply's administration replaced into thoroughly corrupt and replaced into in all possibility the initiating of the large turn for the republican occasion. Harding in the 1920's replaced into yet another vulnerable and ineffective president. His administration replaced into thoroughly corrupt and if he had lived he would have been impeached or compelled to provide up and then there is often Nixon. i think of that Bush will particularly carry his very own against any of those for worst ever. His abuses to the form, patronage, the conflict, the financial equipment. It takes awhile for historic previous to get a sparkling view yet stunning now he does not have lots of a legacy

By the tenor of most of the answers, it is evident that our young people in the US are very ignorant. Bush may not be a great president yet, but he's very far from the worst at this point in time.

To those of you who say he's done so much? Umm, what exactly has he done for this country?

To those of you who bash Clinton? At least he was a good president even if he had some moral problems.

To answer the question? Yes, he is in the top 5 - Hoover, Nixon and a few others were very bad or ineffective but few presidents have had such a low approval rating or caused such an uproar that it effectively changed the way the country will vote on many elections to simply get Republicans out.

Not at all. The worst president would probably have to be Clinton, and not because he had an affair, but because he had an affair and got caught. How stupid do you have to be? You have all this influencial power as president, surely he could've had the woman murdered and nobody would've known.

The USGov runs the show, the presidents are just there to be a spokesperson.

Yes, but by many times. When he received The office, USA was United and with an surplus of more than 5 billion dollars. An oil barrel had a cost of about $20.00. ok,
i am so tired of the jesus crispys, and faux moral people praising this docuhe. YES HE IS THE WORST PRESDIENT!!well at least in my lifetime....so i can't say if there will never be worse president. but for now yeah. he lied about iraq...he knew about child molestation going on with republican congressman..he even hired a gay whore and gave him a high paying job. a gay whore who has been in the west wing 99 times!!! he let people die in new orleans! yet he has focused all his energies on..gays-bad, womens choice bad and evil, sadam..not the seven foot guy who killed 3000 citizens on 9-11-2001. if you think he is still a moral and good leader after this..then i suggest charles manson for prez 2008!!c'mon he's into "family!!!!!!
