My mom had me, my sis and my bro by the time she was 22, and later on had another kid when she was in her late 20's. I don't think there is a problem with that. She is now in her 40's now, and is very healthy.

first I think it is great for you to be having that many children, if that is what god is giving you! Who ever doesn't take as any gifts that god gives you then they are crazy!

I am a 22 year old mom with 3 and 5 months along with my 4th! We take what ever god is giving us and to think about it women have had many babies in the past. Starting at a younger age and having clear into their 40's. I think that doctors don't want people to have more than 2, so they will say anything for people to stop having kids. Good luck!

I don't think it is true. My MIL had nine children starting at 23 and ending at 47ish. She was fine, the doctor did tell her after her last one she shouldn't have anymore kids, but only because she had nine and that took a toll on her parts, not her age.

My doctor actually told me it was better when you are younger because your parts down there go back easier. Your uterus is more stretchy when you are young.

The younger the woman is the quicker her body recovers. I suppose it would be the same for women of any age - lots of children will eventually take it's toll.

I think it's the having several close together that is a potential problem. If they are born too close together, the mom's body doesn't get enough time in between to recover.

i have never heard that before. she has three healthy children now and she is still young so I'm sure that she will be able to have more children later on in life if she pleases.

My mum was about 20 when she had her first, and 40 when she had me, and there were three in between, so it's probably not a general problem.

I wouldn't believe the article. God designed women to give birth. Just take as many blessings as God gives you.
