Not always. Sometimes people have cramps. If you do, just take some Midol or Tylenol.
Most of the time, they're just a little messy, that's all.

Some people cramp the 1st few days and have backaches...Try an OTC pain reliever or a heating pad

Yeah! I have horrible crampys in the the first couple of days. I get stomach aches, my feet are sore and it hurts. U can take pills to help with the pain.

Nah, unless you have cramps . But you do feel kinda crappy the first day. It's not that bad, after you've had it for years. Normal routine. lol Good Luck.

No it's just a little uncomfortable for some women, but you really should be talking to your mother or a female that is close to you. Peace!

some people have no discomfort at all, most have mild cramping and head aches, and some really have a terrible time with periods, ask your mom how it was for her, you likely will have a similar experience.

cramps can be painful sometimes, but your flow itself isn't. You should just talk to your mom or older sister, or cousin or aunt or some one else you trust about it.

i have had my period since i was 9. at first it is definitly painful and irregular. pills and and my blanket are my best friends during my period.
