No! You need to understand what P2P means! Peer to Peer or person to person! This means what you download comes from a total strangesrs PC! Do you trust everyone on the net? This is the PRIME method of sending viruses!

Well, I KNOW you're not using a virus scan/firewall or you wouldn't even be asking that question. You MUST have a virus scan and you MUST keep it updated and you MUST SCAN EVERYTHING YOU DOWNLOAD BEFORE YOU OPEN IT... People think they can just download a song/movie and just start playing it and THAT releases any virus or spyware onto your computer. After you download from the net, FIRST go to the folder you download the file in... Right-click the file and click SCAN and let your virus scan scan it for viruses. If it has none, THEN you can click on it to open/play it! And ONLY THEN! If you do this ALWAYS then you will NEVER NEVER have to worry about getting a virus, no matter where you download from. If you choose to ignore using an updated virus scan then be prepared to eventually have to purchase a new computer. good luck and get protected :-)
