all these are great answers and very likely. I would also check grounds. Some vehicles use the same ground location for the fuelpump wire and the turn signals. usually if this was the case some of the turn signal locations would work. I have also seen batteries short and cause voltage spikes wich burn out certian systems in cars. I would check and make sure my bulbs were still good. It is very likely that these two problem are not connected at all.

Make sure there is not more than one fuze box and when you check the fuzes pull them and check them for continuity instead of just checking them with a test light. You can get feedback from other accessorys in the system and a fuze will show good with a test light. The only other thing you can do is get a wire diagram and see if there is a common thread between the two.

I find it a coincidence that they both quit on you at the same time. gas gauge could be a bad sending unit, bad gauge, or clusteritself. the turn signal is probably the switch by itself. Take it to a garage to double check.
