Hi, I am 16.5 weeks pregnant I have been able to feel the baby for a little while now. My question is how far along were you before someone else like you spouse could feel it? When do the kicks get harder? Right now it is very light like butterflys.

With my first pregnant I think I was about 20 weeks before I felt it and about 25 weeks before anyone else could. This time around number 2 I felt movemnet around 14 weeks and I started feeling it on the outside at about 18 weeks, but as for hubby not yet, the baby is queit when he is near. It is kind of funny I will call him over and then the movement stops. My son has felt him move through once when he was laying on my belly.

I know I was about 5 1/2 months along. Also you could be mistaking the butterfly feelings for gas. I know it sounds crazy but your body is changing a lot and there are a lot of little bubbles that can feel like a baby moving. I know I wasn't sure if it was her or not but the first time I actually felt her move it was much different than the little butterfly feelings I was having but it was about 5 1/2 months.

I was about 20 weeks when my husband could feel the baby too...now I am 2 days shy of 30 weeks and he can see my belly move cause the baby kicks so much....
Enjoy it....its something that the guys will never know what its like!

About 25 weeks the kicks get hard enough that someone can feel it kick. I'm 26 weeks and feel hard and soft kicks quite often now, its very cool.

Wow thats crazy i was such a worry bird when i was pregnant i freaked out because my baby wouldnt move but My hubby could feel her move when i was about 5 months. Good luck on the baby its so exciting

I was about 21 weeks before hubby could feel it.... was SOO frustrating! It has alot to do with bad timing, it would kick then when he tried to feel it, nothing happened. He will feel when you start getting good kicks! Don't worry and tell him to be patient!

I think I was around 20 weeks when my husband could feel the baby. Near the end I could just see my tummy moving. that was so fun...something to look forward to.

I was around 6.5 months when DH could feel the baby kick.

My husband felt her for the first time at about 5.5 months.
