I have no idea what to do out here, ever since we moved. We have 2 neighbors, older couple and this really creepy family. There is absolutely no where to go! Any ideas?? (I'm the only child here at my house!!)

Iv recently moved to the country too in NY from the city. There isnt anything or anyone around here either.I am here all week & go into the city on the week-ends.I usually just clean the house & yard,,take care of my dogs,,play guitar,,watch tv or play on the computer.Feel free to e-mail me if you get bored.Im used to city living so this is all new to me too.My friends think its too far to come out to visit (only 45 minutes away). We are surrounded by farmer crops,,the bugs are many & huge ,,I now have well water & propane heat,,lol.

If you attend a school, form a circle with school friends and organize regular sleepovers. This is not a logistical complication as you all go back to school daily anyway.

Learning something entertaining helps a lot to make visits something they'll like doing.

E.g.:
- games of all kinds
- science experiments, esp. country/biology related
- can you learn acting/music in school? writing and acting/playing for videos is great fun, and never ends as long as someone in the group is creative enough

i would trade with you in a heart beat i live in the middle of the city. fishing is always good. and if there is a lake or something swimming is a ideal. if your still in school after you make some friends you will find tons of things to do. i know when i was 13 and we moved to the mountains i was board to death untill i made some friends. after that we went camping and fishing almost every weekend.

Well sweety! I hope you like nature...
Put on some bug spray and hiking boots and go for a nature walk. I'm sure you will encounter some critters on the way.
Find a hoppy.... Sewing, making keychains, lanyards, get on myspace.com!
Best of luck to you dear!!!!!!!!

Want to trade places? I would love to live in the country. Sometimes I get tired of people everywhere, and I get an itch to be by myself in the great outdoors. Where you see boredom, I see opportunity.

If you go to school, hang out with those kids and if you dont like them the net may help with finding hot spots in town.

Go for a walk. Listen to the birds. Take your dog for a walk. If it's a farm go see the animals.

Join a club or go to a square dance... ok ok ok.. it's cheesy, but you can still have fun enjoying the local flavor. It's a good way to make friends.

Use your imagination. Read, take a hike, go climb a tree. Get dirty! Sheesh! You're not going to die!
