If you attend a school, form a circle with school friends and organize regular sleepovers. This is not a logistical complication as you all go back to school daily anyway.
Learning something entertaining helps a lot to make visits something they'll like doing.
E.g.:
- games of all kinds
- science experiments, esp. country/biology related
- can you learn acting/music in school? writing and acting/playing for videos is great fun, and never ends as long as someone in the group is creative enough

Want to trade places? I would love to live in the country. Sometimes I get tired of people everywhere, and I get an itch to be by myself in the great outdoors. Where you see boredom, I see opportunity.

If you go to school, hang out with those kids and if you dont like them the net may help with finding hot spots in town.

Go for a walk. Listen to the birds. Take your dog for a walk. If it's a farm go see the animals.

Join a club or go to a square dance... ok ok ok.. it's cheesy, but you can still have fun enjoying the local flavor. It's a good way to make friends.

Use your imagination. Read, take a hike, go climb a tree. Get dirty! Sheesh! You're not going to die!
