Why? It's not the end of humanity!
According to my Pastor, the end of the world will never happen. Humanity might "disappear" when the sun fades out... that won't be for another billion years. So, nothing to worry about. ^_^

I really love Japan. ^_^

Your pastor is wrong, of course the end of the world will happen.
Anyhow, I'm not "soooo" afraid of Kim Jong II and his bombs, I think it's pretty overhyped.

Why, well there are many factors in you question! So let's figure them out together okay!
1. First, of all Kim Jong is not Japanese, he is a North Korean. A country for last 60 odd years that have not only unstable relationship with the United States but with it's neighbors as well. The Korean conflict was one of the fall outs that we had with North Korea in which was one of the bloodiest in America's history. * Note : That N. Korea is one of the few remaining communist countries left in the world. When the the Korean conflict was going on China, the Soviet Union, were on the side of the N. Koreans.
2. Any nuclear bomb, whether ours or not, is a real cause for concern. This is where we our concerned, a radical holding a bomb, that lets say gets mad, and has no real check and balances, before he pushes that button is like a guy robbing a liqour store with one or more bullets in his gun and waving around at you and other people and he promises to pull the trigger. Who is he going to shoot, not himself, but one of you. If thats to complex of a scenario hows this one, a person has a gun and puts it in a chamber and spins it (this is probably a closer an analogy to the problem than the first because a revolver has six chambers and he has six targets to choose from). Eventually he will hit someone.
3. Say hypothetically, he shoots his nuclear weapon at either China, Russia, Japan, England, France or the United States, we will fire back. Just imagine how much death will be from the explosion alone. In theory, a countries population the size of Texas could be entirely wiped out and the rest of the world would have what they call a "nuclear fallout" which is 10 times worst than what the dinosaurs had to endure. Nothing would be spared not even a cockroach or a virus like the cold could endure it's
wrath.
5. I don't know how old you are or if you understand what I been saying. Your pastor, again I don't know your faith or anything about you yourself, but maybe he did not want you to be afraid. I being christian will tell you that this is a very serious and very real scenario of what could be World War 3 and the beginning of the end of times. Be very afraid!!!!!!!!!!!

Your Pastor is right. None of us will live to see the "End of the World".

As for Kim Jong IL. We should be afraid of him. He is another little man tyrant that wants to leave his mark on the world. He has nothing to lose by launching a nuclear weapon at anyone for any reason. I've been to North Korea. Those people are eating dirt with a side order of tree bark (and the tree bark is imported). They have nothing. The majority of the small income the country has is dumped straight into the military and the rest is imbezzled by the government leaders. Shooting a nuclear weapon and wondering who will get mad at them is the LEAST of his worries.

Should we be directly afraid? I won't shudder at his name, but I will fear that he will start selling dirty bombs or even a nuclear bomb to terrorists for cash.....that will detonate those bombs inside the United States.

Kim Jong IL has nothing to lose period....and that's why we should fear his actions. Note: His actions are to be feared...not the little tyrant man.

You pastor needs to read up, it's more than quite possible that our species is going to end in the next 200 years. The birthrate of a species grows right before it's about to die out. I'd kinda hate to see this world with all the stuff we've done to it after our species has all died. But maybe a new species will be evolved from us who is more intelligent.

Nobody is scared of Kim Jong Il, and if they were then they would've been wiped off the planet and became one with South Korea. It isn't even proven for sure that they've done nuclear tests, and I don't think they have.

First of all, your pastor is wrong. Take the time to review Matthew and Revelation and reflect upon the impact a nuclear weapon makes.

Now, I'm not saying that the Bible clearly prophesizes nuclear disaster. But I am definitely saying a pastor telling you "the end of the world will never happen" isn't dealing with the text of Revelation fairly or accurately.

Why is everyone soooo afraid of Kim Jong II and his bombs? Because you have a radical dictatorship building the capability for nuclear destruction.

Best to you.

screw your stupid pastor. He doesnt know anything about the "end of the world".

People are not afraid of Kim Jong IL. They are afraid his tests will inspire other countries---like China to start up their testing again. Then Japan gets worried and the US keeps acting like idiots behind Bush and soon a war breaks out. One nuc will lead to 2 nucs and then---the "end of the world" is a probability.

It puts North Korea in a very good negotionation position. This could pretty much influence and affect the stability of the Asian area. Some believe that Japan will nuclearize as well once it gets confirmation of NK nukes.

Because, although the whole of humanity might not disappear, Japan might due to his bombs. As well as S. Korea, Cambodia, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Phillipines, India, China, Eastern Russia. Wouldnt be good, would it?
