If you do research you will find a lot out.
Generally and acid diet with Sodium fluoride in the water will cause an imbalance if you o not get enough Iodine in the diet T3 and T4 production is affected.

Drink a good alkaline water and take Iodine in the form of herbal Kelp or Kelp granuals from a health food shop.
Do not overdose seek the dose for You.

Stay away from all Soya Protein and drinks as soy slows the thyroid and turns what you eat into storage .
Thats why pigs are feed Soy so they get fat. Humans are feed Soy and put weight on, when it should be turned into available energy for use.

No. Basically, hypothyroidism means that your thyroid (for whatever reason) isn't making enough thyroid hormones - they are called T3 and T4. These hormones are essential for your well being. They are a big part of the regulatory system that manages your body temperature and metabolism - they also effect your some of your electrolytes. Humans cannot survive without the hormone.

The best way to treat hypothyroidism (if you can't fix the underlying cause) is to take the medication levothyroxine - it is a supplement of the thyroid hormone.

I'm sure you will get a "Yes" answer from someone. As a physician, I am fairly eclectic in my practices, incorporating a number of "alternate" elements where I can rationalize benefit. For other alternate approaches I work hard to remain agnostic unless I can see clear harm.

My caution would be to make sure you have been thoroughly evaluated and are certain that the cause in your particular case is clear. Also don't forgo proven treatments to pursue expensive promises.

Nope, I've had it for a year now. The "drugs" they give you is actually a synthetic version of the hormone your thyroid would have produced.

You need this, because your body will eventually shut down without this hormone...

Drugs really are need IF you have been diagnosed with this
if your blood work shows you are hypo - - meds would help you
feel better so much faster. You'll wonder why you didn't do it sooner.

experience talking.
