There was Cory Lidle and an instructor on board the plane. I do believe from what I have heard from msnbc.com that more people have been sent to the hospital, mainly firefighters, no conditions are known about them. However Lidle may have been the person piloting the plane, and there was talk that a fuel emergency was declared shortly before the plane slammed into the building, broke apart and then the pieces slammed into the ground.

There was no reports of ARod being on the plane that Cory Lidle was flying that hit a building in New York City.
