ram memory question?

I saw a message on my computer saying that I was missing RAM memory, how can I make some space? And is the speed of the computer related to the RAM memory?

I get the same message.I hope someone can answer you so i will know what to do also.Defrag and clearing cache and temp files and clearing old programs does not help.
