I'm 51 years old, my first concert was Sonny and Cher when I was in 7th grade, 1967. I've been to hundreds. My favorites have been all the Grateful Dead ones, and I've been to a LOT. But the very, very best was Queen with Thin Lizzy as the opening act- KICK ***!!!!!!!!!!

Starting with my first concert in 1995 (Nine Inch Nails/David Bowie), I have probably been to about 30 concerts. Among my favorites were Smashing Pumpkins, Alanis Morissette (whom I've seen 3 times), and Garbage. You're going to laugh, though, but the absolute best time I've ever had at a concert was at the Ricky Martin show back in 2000, just when he was getting really popular in America. Sounds cheesy, I know, but the man puts on a good show!

In ways of local bands, hundreds. I've only been to two concerts that I can remember (because I was young when my mom took me to see Styx or Kansas... one of them!)
I've seen Ringo Starr and his All Starr Band (not a bad show) and Lynyrd Skynyrd/Three Doors Down (same concert, different sets). I think I really liked the Ringo Starr one better, because the performer/audience relationship was high, drunks and druggies were low, and I got to get right up to the stage. It was great fun, and even though I knew few of his songs, it was as if I had heard them before. The Lynyrd Skynyrd concert was huge, loud, and violent. The bathroom line was long. People knocked beer bottles over my head. Not a pleasant experience!

I've been to at least a dozen concerts - The Allman Brothers, The Cure, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Black Crowes, Dave Matthews Band, Veruca Salt, Max Creek, SLAP, Kiss, and a bunch more that I barely remember.
I've got to say that the Chili Peppers and the Cure were the best I've ever seen. ...and I HATE live music!
Happy concerting!

OMG way to many to count. i am not joking when i say at least 80 probaby more in the past 2 1/2 years. many shows and many many bands. i would have to say a tie in the best shows. on top would be linkin park on sept 1st 2004. a close second would be the lost prohets about 2 or so years ago in salt lake city at the lo fi cafee.

I've been to many great concerts, but my favorite was Sting in Tokyo. I was amazed by the things he did with his voice, in my opinion to demonstrate "why" he is a superstar. Have not heard him perform in that way other places.
