why if a question offends you do you not just ignore it insted of being a tattle tale ......no one likes a tattle tale

In general, I ignore them too. But as for questions/answers that promote violence( esp. towards children-there seem to be a lot of them in the parenting catagory) ,bigotry, et al I might reconsider. I think people that get report happy and notify on the smallest of things, need vindication for their views. And some I suppose are just tattle tales. Not to worry, no one likes them.

I wonder about that too but just picture this.
Tattle tales getting 2 points for tattling.
suppose most Q will be deleted in a short period of time. lol

the best thing to do is ignore it, but if it is so offensive that u can't then i think u should report it to someone. i really don't know what good it will do but if it makes u feel better then perhaps u should. obviously u know whom the person is and i guess u must take this into consideration. good luck

Depends on the question and the content contained. If i beleive it will offend more than myself ( Majority rules) Than yes I will report said question!

To find out if it offends you, you have to read it, thus causing you offence. And it is everyones right to complain about something that offends them.
If you have been reported try not posting offensive messages.

There's a difference in an offensive question and a question that breaks the rules of Yahoo. The rules are the rules, whether you/we like 'em or not.
