Baseball aside, four people are dead. We can only feel bad for them and for their families. We should be mindful of what people in New York must have thought when they saw a plane flying into a building, those scars are probably still fresh.
The baseball fans on this page cannot wish death on a player. Too often that player is traded to your favorite team. So as a Red Sox fan, I honestly feel nothing but sadness for the passengers and their families.

because there are idiots everywhere that don't realize that baseball is just a game, and take it more seriously than life itself. Cory Lidle was a good man, a model citizen from what all I've read. He was a husband, son, and father to somebody and people fail to realize that this loss extends far beyond the realm of baseball, but will affect those that were close to him for the rest of their lives. I hope that the reports are incorrect and that he somehow survived, but if not may Cory Lidle R.I.P.

I agree with you 100%. I am a fan of the Red Sox and Twins and I would never be that cruel. There are a lot of classless individuals out there.

Yup. I hate the Yankees but his death is just tragic and is such a blow for the team. I think this is the worst year for the Yankees. I feel sorry for his family.
