I mean it is soo hard for us to get a decent job..we are practically still slaves in this racist country....in a way it is worse then slavery.

I've managed to make my own breaks, and not only get a decent job but start a couple of companies create a few jobs as well. Oprah is a billionaire......money made right here in America. The way you casually refer to the present as being worse than slavery is a true sign that you are totally ignorant of the true horrors and depravations of the chattel slavery our forebears endured.
What is holding you back? Have you taken advantage of the educational opprotunities available?
Do you have skills and or knowledge that is in demand in the market place/workforce?
If not, why not? It is not enough to have a college degree if that degree can't get you a good job or help you start a business.

Well, to focus on your questions: What must blacks do to be treated fairly? Hm, loaded question. I think I'll stay away from this one. I will say, however, that I've noticed that black people have a tendency to single themselves out from time to time. What I mean is some of them have a tendency to think in very racially charged terms. This makes people think twice about talking to them. Why do I refuse to believe it? I don't. Where I live most of the mercedes I see on the road are owned by black people. The house thing with the professor at the ivy league university? I think the cops were just doing their job and the professor was acting on his prejudices when accusing the officers of racism. They were just responding to a call, his neighbors called because they were concerned there was a man trying to break in to his house. How were they supposed to know he didn't have a key? The problem with racist cops as you've described is that they're just fueling the fire of the pain of discrimination. It often makes the victims of this type of abuse see the world through a jaded lens.

Not only are you stupid. You are also a liar.You are in the best country in the world. You can go to college for FREE!!!!, You can get FREE housing, and food and medical care just because your great grand parents were mistreated. You have no excuse. Black folks have been offered a nearly free life for the last 25 years or so. There is no excuse for a black person between the ages of 22 and 51 not to have at least a Bachelors degree, many should have Masters ans some Doctorates. It has been free to you since about 1973. What did you do with your opportunity?-piss it away?

You know what I was going to let my answer be just as stated about but **** it. Black people have nobody stopping them at this point but BLACK PEOPLE. How do I know this? Because I see that crabs in a barrell woe is me bullshit everyday. Yes it is hard to find a job , but you can get there. Yes there is alot of racism and classism STILL going on today. But to compare not being able to get a job in 2006 to slavery? You are out your ******* mind dude! You can't compare being taken away from your family, your wives being raped by slave owners and people getting lynched over absolutely nothing to not getting a damn job.

ok ok ok.... first things first... get ur head out of ur freakin *** and look in the history books... way way way back before america was even founded. white people were slaves. and they were treated way worse then black people were... we've live through more suffering then u guys. and we work hard for our money... maybe if u go get a suit and tie. not dress like ur in prison with ur pants down to ur crack (reason for prisoners to have pants like that is so bubba would screw u and pull ur pants up before u get caught) start speaking proper english and maybe ull get a decent job. maybe even go to college and get a good education..... talking about white people making black people slaves. we treated u guys way worse then we were treated when we were slaves... our punishments were death or cut off of a limb or other stuff like that... u guys atleast were kept in good shape.

Get up off your butts, get a good education, respect others(including Whites)Even your name is disrespectful. Remember, respect is earned not required. Get a job and quit expecting the Government to "give' you everything. Quit having children with so many different women and get off welfare. I'll say the same thing my "white male" boyfriend says when he says he can't get a job because they are going to all of the minorities, Get off your *** and find a job. Anyone can do it. Stop blaming your problems on race and start blaming on the real reasons people can't find jobs, they quit school because they think it's cool to be uneducated and they are too lazy to apply themselves.
