Yes ASAP! Her mom will be upset be she will get over it and learn that it was meant to be. She can never stop loving her daughter and it is natural for her to love her own grandaughter. The longer she waits the more upset her mom will be because she kept it from her and lied...plus it can hurt the baby as soon as she found she should have told because she needed to go to the doctor right away the baby needs to be checked on starting right away; or their can be damage to the baby and the mother plus her realtionship with her family.

Yes.
Her parents will be upset, but now that does not matter if she was woman enough to have unprotected sex with some-one she should be woman enough to talk to her parents like an adult. It will be hard at first but if her parents love her and ARE SUPPORTIVE ...THE TOUGH TIME WILL PASS AND EVERY ONE WILL ACCEPT IT, My cousin (18) just recently had a baby boy... her parents were upset (because they love her) but the tough time passed and now she is living with her parents her boyfriend moved in they just got married and her mother is teaching and helping her with the child, and my cousins dad is teaching and helping her boyfriend become a good husband and father. THE BABY IS THE LIFE OF THE HOUSE EVERY ONE LOVES HIM TO DEATH!! if your friend does not have this support from her family there are always groups in school for pregnant students that offer support and classes, also the government have numbers and hot lines for pregnant teens. There is a solution for everything it might be tough for her now but this is only the begining, if she started something wrong she should finish it right. tell her to keep the baby "everything will fall into place with time" that child could make a difference in some- ones life and she will love Him/Her more than she ever loved anything or any one in her live! Everything is going to alright please let her know that.

yes. I was pregnet at 18 and I said nothing. I hid it all 9 months then the day after I turned 19 i went into labor, I drove to the hospital and had my baby. Then I had to call my mom. I lived at home with my mom, she never knew. that was 13 years ago. Things have worked out great now, but it would of been better on me if I had told her and not been scared.

You don't think that mom will figure it out anyway? Remember most other women can tell if someone is pregnant because they were once pregnant themselves.

When your friend is comfortable and not after she starts showing. She should probably sit her down to inform her of the forthcoming child.

If your friend plans on getting an abortion, she doesn't have to tell anyone, in fact telling in that case may only complicate things. But if she's keeping the baby, she might as well tell her mother. Can't hide that for very long.

I would say yes...especially if she is planning on keeping the baby. Obviously her mom will find out at one point if shes keeping the baby...But if she is not keeping the baby...then it would be a good idea...but personally if she knows her mom would flip, I wouldnt

Yes of course she should. Eventually she won't be able to hide the pregnancy from her mother anyway so she should tell her and trust that her mother will ( after the initial shock) be her greastest source of comfort, advice and support.

She better tell her as soon as possible before she finds out.
Make it the easy way, not the hard way… you might regret it later in life.
She doesn’t have to be the first one, but at least better to find out throw the children that someone else.

Yes, she is going to need all of the support she can get. Encourage her and tell her that her family loves her no matter what.

Most definitely. Mom's are more understanding than one would think. She probably already knows but isn't saying anything.
