Ugh. Ok So I was with this girl. We were taking it slow but definitely heated and everything was cool. I introduced my ex girlfriend who's also my best friend to her thinking it would reduce tension. But no...they ended up being interested in eachother. They say they care about my feelings and **** but wtf? If they did dont you think they would leave this alone? I know I cant help them meeting and liking eachother and **** but I dont know what to do. It really ******* hurts my feelings and I dont know how to stop thinking of them together. Its so weird. And I thought it was a 'best friend rule' to not date exes? haha, I dont even know. It just really ******* hurts. and I dont know how to stop feeling like this. Any suggestions? I know that it was short and sweet but, I dont even know what to say anymore. Why would my best friend do that? I even told her it would hurt me! I told them both because I noticed their calls to eachoher. Just the fact they disregarded my feelings...

You guys are all right about this. But god it hurts and it sucks so ******* much. If she really cared about me like she preaches and preaches she does why would she do this? It makes no sense. I dunno...I dont want to stop being friends with her because I love her. But this isnt the first time she's lied. Eh...

That is why people shouldn't remain friends with their ex's.

I am sorry to disagree with so many here, but that is exactly what "best friends" do to other women. Women are very different than men..men usually won't touch a buddies love interest, but with women, it is like a cape being waved in front of a bull! And this is NOT a gay thing, it is a woman thing. My mother, long ago, warned me that all women are in competion with eachother, will do anything to "win" the battle, then expect even their best friend to be all buddy buddy after the damage has been done. Ask your mom..see if she doesn't agree. NEVER trust another women with something you love, period!

Well sorry to say but it wasn't meant to be for you... So what if they are together, it probably wont last.... Just be glad that you didn't give all your heart to this girl and spend some quality time and boom it happen later... I know its hard because you met her first, but have you ever heard the country song thank god for unanswered prayers? That was not your lady... and as for being dis respected I'm sure your ex is your ex for a reason... You time will come and the one who will love you will only be into you.... Not someone so wishywashy.... what a flake.

I've noticed in my own life that the people I like often like each other. This has sometimes led to uncomfortable situations, some that felt like betrayal. On the one hand, it's logical that some of the people I like would like each other (some kind of math from high school, if a is like b and b is like c, then a is like c). On the other hand, it being logical never made me feel better. I don't think I can help you with your pain, unless knowing you're not the only one this ever happened to helps. Hang int there!

Hmm...what to do what to do... Do what i did, slash my ex's tires and pimp the guy I was interested in to a couple of Leather daddies. OK not so practical but it felt so good!

Seriously, I think what you should do is sit them down individually, and hash out your feelings, just lay them out in the open. I am a subscriber of "Honesty is the best policy" (If it'll Get you some) but this time, I think just be honest, there's no jury of your peers who won't acquit you if you slash their tires or trash their homes for what they did to you.

Tell them how you feel and open up a two way communication. They might not know how you feel (unlikely but keep that in mind).

Happened to my bestfriend a few weeks ago. You're right, it is f****d. She even tried keeping a relationship with her friend after the fact cause she had broken up with the guy a few "months" ago. She thought the feelings were gone, but of course they never really are completely. You have to ask yourself if the friendship is worth keeping, cause you're never gonna forget what happened. I doubt her intention was ever to hurt you, but that's certainly not gonna make you feel any better. Try talking it out with her...she at least owes you an explanation. Come on....Girl rule #1 gay, straight, bisexual, or otherwise....no dating of the exes!

Move on! She is no longer your best friend! Not that its right but this type of sh*t happens on a regular basis with lesbians.

Have you seen the l word and Alice's graph? Where I'm from nearly all the women I know have been with each other and then their exes etc.
