i was raped 9 year ago & my rapest has never went to jail ,even though i tryed to have him put there & now gets to see my daughter that my boyfriend & i have raised & my daughter calls my boyfriend daddy , i just would like to know what others would have done or do in the case

my boyfriend & i are getting married & i have put the rape behind me ,but some times when i have to drop her off with him i get so sick & sometime that i think back on that night & ask why did you go out ,we love (my boyfriend & I ) our daughter so much ,we have her in the best private chistian school in the area & she has 2 horses that she learning how to ride shes the best thing out of this hole mess ,i just wish she didn't have to see him

she has good life why is it the the courts & there no good judges have to miss up peoples lifes like this ,i had everthing i need saying that i was raped the day we went to court but the judge would not look at it all he looked at was that this guy was & is the father of my baby ,although she already had one,i mean what makes a father is it some one that was not there when you where born,cryed your frist cry ,walked your frist walk ,or seen you get one that school bus for the frist time ,HELL NO ITS NOT,A father is the one that seen you be born held you in his arms & cryed like a baby at your brith & picked you up when you fell out of the tree house that you 2 made & brushed you off & its some one that is there for you now matter what

I would have done what you did. You did what so many other women wouldn't do. As for him seeing your daughter i would have a fit. How dare he think he should get to see that child. You have been through so much know you have deal with your rapest all the time. I would do whatever i could to get his rights taken away. There has got to be something you can do. You are a great mom and a great person.

I think that you have been really brave to have your daughter and bring her up so well - and have a supporting boyfriend to help you.
I have thought about what I would do in this situation lots of times.
I think if it happened to me, I would have the baby because I would always worry that if I had an abortion, I would worry that ithere was a small chance I might never be able to conceive again.
However - it's easy for me to say that when Ihave not been in that position. I would not think anyone was a bad person if they got pregnant this way and had an abortion. But I think you have to do what's right for you and you did what was right for you at the time.
am all for fathers helping with their estranged kids, but in this case I don't think he should see her - what if he every abuses her when she's older? Maybe the law in whatever country you live in could ensure he pays maintenance but doesn't allow him to see her. After doing what he did to you, he shouldn't have the pleasure of being part of her life - he doesn't deserve it.

It may sound crazy but the best thing u could do is to try to forget that u were raped. Your daughter deserves all the love a mon can give (it is not her fault the way she was conceive). Think that out every bad thing that happens a very good one happens too. That girl is a gift so just enjoy her while u can is a wonderfull thing about your boyfriend she does not need to know about her biological father. Good luck .

OMG, I give you a lot of credit to have kept the child and your boyfriend credit for assisting you in raising it. I would file a restraining order against the "father". The justice system just isn't right....what a terrible situation. I wouldn't be able to look at him, I'd probably kill him.

i think about that some times. i think i would keep the baby. even those she would of been conceived by my rape. but she would be loved like your daughter
