looking for cookies/history from previously visited web sites.if the history is cleared,can it still be found?

I was thinking that some where in the computer....in the registry, maybe the deleted or cleared files are still there. can someone help?

Cookies and history are separate. If you clear the history, the cookies are probably still there. How they're both stored depends on which browser you're using though. Without that information, I can't offer any further help.

Cookies/history can be retrieved from a computer's hard drive by professionals.
