We are crazy Americans who never think anything through logically and think we are the best. Also, take note of the education system. There is another reason.

You see, we like our airports near populated areas so that we don't have to drive 4 hours to get to our destination after our aircraft has landed. I think if you look around the world, you'll find that most major airports are near populated areas.

And people in those populated areas need places to live and work. We call those places "buildings".

It's not a novel concept.

I understand that Windsor Castle is in the flight path of planes taking off and landing at Heathrow. One of those planes could easily drop a bomb on the castle. Prince Philip has been quoted as saying, "We often get questions from people asking why anyone would build a castle so close to the airport."

How can your country allow aircraft to get so close to Windsor Castle?

British people,
do your government shoot down planes if they fly over a city???

and, you expect the U.S. Navy shot the plane with a missle on top of New York city??

should we have shot it down? and shot it down with what? and who would that have saved anyway?

Riiiiiggghht because legislation would have prevented 9/11. We will be sure to give the dead pilot a ticket.

oh, well the answer is clear. We sit around wishing for these kinds of things to happen to people. You Brits must be crazy for not wanting your fellow men to die in airplane crashes.

seriously, why did you even ask this?

We don't allow it, that's why it's called an accident :-)
