I always buy an outfit first. If I have money for matching shoes, I'll buy the shoes.

Outfit first definately. And then I don't care too much if the shoes match. Most of the time I end up wearing converse or black flats with everything.

If it were up to me, I would buy the outfit first, seeing as how you can always find a shoe to go along with it.
I hope that when you say, to "match the shoe" you don't mean color! you should never match too much, it's ridiculous!

I buy the outfit first. I cant stand shoes, so i have a bunch of different black ones...lol. My fiance calls that saditty- espeecially when the girls buy the sunglasses to match (which they NEVER seem to take off mind you!)
If i need a pair to go with it- then maybe yes, but if it is for a just anyday occasion... nope. White tennis shoes, or black heels....

I have big feet and they are also a little wide,so I buy my shoes first,as they can be hard enough to buy some times,and then I buy my clothes to suit my shoes.
