Yes it's very simple
All of of the music that was on your old iPod will go straight on to your new one without any messing about.

All you do is;
Plug your new one in (it may ask for the no. on the back + for you to name it)
All your music/ratings/play counts/playlists will go on to your new iPod and you're done.
Carry on with that as normal!

yes its really easy. plus i don't think you have to unintsall anything, you might just have to patch the new iPod
