Of course we are! We showed that by stuffing England last year!
Plus, we don't put our team up on a pedestal like the English or the Rep of Ireland. We are a humble footballing nation but we're still proud of our team.
We're not Brazil, we're Northern Ireland!
Oh yeah, we also have the English league's best striker in David Healy. Just shows that you don't have to make it in big clubs like Man Utd to show what you're made of. David Healy is a local legend. No, wait, he's a God. And Lawrie Sanchez is our own wee miracle worker. Thank f*ck he didn't step down. He's given us a much needed boost.
Altogether now!
There's only one Northern Ireland
Only one Northern Ireland
We used to be sh*te
But now we're alright
Walking in a Windsor Wonderland
Oh yeah, just back from the Latvia game and i'm the happiest man around. And i only live 20 yards from the ground.
Lawrie Sanchez's Green n White Army!
Oh, and to all those other idiots who doubt us, we're the last team to win the British Home Championship in 1984, so you could also say we're the last of the U.K. teams to collect any silverware! Salt. Wounds. Ouch!

my palms are crossed for you yet somewhat i'm no longer able to work out it taking place. If northern eire were at domicile and Sweden away then theres a competent hazard it could have surpassed off yet i only can no longer see the two Spain dropping at domicile or Latvia triumphing in Sweden. Sorry. yet nicely accomplished to nevertheless be in it with a million interest left, an fairly remarkable accomplishment thinking the gang they have.

Well it's certainly 10 times better than England. Incidently, do you know that only in sport is there still the name England, in the case of the indigenous population we are now officially British, this is so as not to offend you know who.

I do, along with the other Celtic teams - Scotland and Wales for the benefit of the English. Anyway, we are all part of the UNITED KINGDOM.
