ok well morely my friends were having a discussion and they were all being mean the friend of mine who doesn't think you can. he was trying to prove with with some talk about kinetic and potential energy and they accused him of trying to be smarter than he was. so i want to know is it possible to fall *up* the stairs. if not, i can disprove the other people and they'll have to apologise for being mean to my other friend. =]

you can not fall up because of the force of gravity always pulls you toward the center of the earth (were earths density is highest) so in relation to you head you always fall down head goes down. you friend is smart like me.

Comment. Before fun4kev_snoopy fell his head was 4 stairs up and ended up 2 stairs down from that refrence.

Funny as it may be I have actually fallen on the stairs and end up two steps above where I was because of my heighth.

yes it is possible because if you trip whille going up the stairs and you fall ist called going falling up the stairs
